Scott Taylor seeks 7th CORR Championship

The off–season had Scott and his 2004 Championship winning Skyjacker BFGoodrich Tires Ford
F-150 busy with various appearances including, a truck event in Chicago with Phil’s Inc., a
meeting with Ford engineers at its World Headquarters in Detroit, and the SEMA show with
Skyjacker Suspension in Las Vegas. As the snow finally melted back in Illinois, Scott and his
team have been fine tuning the race truck for the 2005 Lucas Oil Championship Off-Road
Series.

“As a competitor, I know everyone is looking to knock off the reigning champion. The bullseye
has been placed on my rear bumper, and my team’s off-season job is to find ways to keep the
competition from getting to the bullseye….We have addressed our power steering problems from
last year and the team is ready for our preseason testing. Our biggest unknown is the new tire
specifications (smaller DOT approved tires). Maximizing the traction from our BFGoodrich Tires
with our Roush Performance powerplant will be a real challenge.” – notes Scott Taylor.

Recently, CORR appointed Scott Taylor to represent PRO-2 on the CORR PRO series advisory board.
The purpose of the board is to ensure the continued growth of CORR and to create another
communications path between competitor and sanctioning body. The other advisory board members
are Curt LeDuc (PRO-4) and Art Schmidt (PRO-Lite).
